In 1981 in the USA began the first competition, in which 6 student teams competed. In the last nearly 30 years the students from all around the world founded aprox. 140 FS Teams, and today there are competitions in South-America, Asia, Australia and of course in Europe. In 2009 there were 4 races in Europe, in Silverstone (England) since 1998, in Hockenheim (Germany) since 2006, in Melk (Austria) since 2009 and in Fiorano (Italy) since 2005. This unique club will flare in 2010 with the Formula Student Hungary in Győr. The competitions are conducted under nearly all the same rules and regulations.
